Hip-Hop, Home, and the Heartbeat of ATL

Soul Food Cypher at CreateATL is a monthly freestyle hip-hop gathering that has become a cultural home in Adair Park, blending lyrical expression, community connection, and performance. More than an event, it’s a space where artists and neighbors engage, celebrate creativity, and build community through rhythm, words, and shared experience.

Scraplanta's Scraplet

Members

CreateATL now hosts The Scraplet, Scraplanta’s creative reuse art store — the first of its kind south of I-20, stocked with salvaged art supplies to keep materials out of landfills and fuel creative projects. Open Friday through Sunday inside CreateATL, The Scraplet also expands Scraplanta’s workshops and community classes, supporting sustainability, creativity, and accessible art resources for Atlanta makers.

What we pour into your cup is a perfect espresso or the most fragrant tea with the light touches of Persian culture. Sassy’s Café provides consistency, hospitality, and daily rhythm for CreateATL. The café and coffee-preneur program is treated as core infrastructure that supports trust, community use, and the overall functioning of the space.



The Overflow

Events

Overflow is a monthly night market celebrating the abundance of creativity and community in Atlanta. Held every second Wednesday, it brings together local artists, food vendors, workshops, music, and neighbors for an open, welcoming evening at CreateATL. With affordable vendor spots and free community programming, Overflow is designed to support local entrepreneurs while creating a vibrant, midweek gathering for the surrounding neighborhoods.
