What Is Overflow?
Overflow reimagines what “working together” can look like for artists, entrepreneurs, and community members. It’s not just a coworking session — it’s an open invitation to create, collaborate, and share. You might be sketching your next piece, editing a short film, writing new verses, or curating a photo series — all while surrounded by other passionate people doing the same.
The night market adds a new layer of discovery. Wander through the deck and outdoor space and you’ll find a rotating lineup of local artists, food vendors, and small businesses selling everything from handcrafted goods to vintage treasures. Live music and pop-up performances make every month feel like a neighborhood block party for the arts.
What Happens at Overflow?
-
Drop-in Creative Work Session – Bring your laptop, sketchbook, sewing kit, or any tools you need and set up in a relaxed, inspiring environment.
-
Rotating Night Market Vendors – Each month, shop and support local makers, artists, and food vendors in our lobby and outdoor spaces.
-
Free Community Programming – From dance and music workshops to pop-up film screenings and art installations, Overflow partners with organizations to offer donation-based events alongside the market. (Click here to apply for a vendor or programming slot)
-
Late Night Refreshment from Sassy’s – Our in-house coffee partners at Sassy’s Cafe stay open late and serve up their signature drinks and menu staples for tea and coffee.
Why Overflow Matters
At its core, Overflow is about circulation. Ideas, goods, conversations, and energy flowing between creatives and the neighborhood. It’s a space where artists can sell work directly, where small food businesses can connect with new audiences, and where neighbors can gather mid-week to support local ecosystems.
Each Overflow event features:
-
A curated artist and maker fair highlighting local creatives
-
Rotating food trucks and prepared food vendors
-
A farmer’s market–style offering with produce, plants, and locally made goods
-
Music, movement, and the kind of informal collisions that only happen when people share space intentionally
Overflow is designed to be approachable and repeatable. You don’t need to plan a whole night around it. Stop by after work, bring a friend, grab a bite, meet a maker, and head home inspired. Over time, the series will evolve with seasonal themes, new vendors, and deeper collaborations, while staying grounded in the same goal: strengthening Atlanta’s creative and local economy.

Overflow: Night Market & Gathering

At CreateATL, we know that creativity flows best when there’s space to connect, explore, and be inspired. That’s why we created Overflow — our month evening dedicated to artists, makers, cultural workers, and curious neighbors. Every second Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM, we open our doors for an evening of focused work, creative exchange, and a lively night market featuring local vendors, art, food, and music.
Overflow is part workspace, part community gathering, and part neighborhood celebration — all in one night. Whether you come to make progress on your next big project, discover local makers, or just soak in the energy, you’ll find a place where creativity spills over into every corner.
